VINCI Abseil for ASCEND

On Saturday 12th September, a team from VINCI PLC abseiled from the 80ft tower of St. Mary’s Church in the centre of Watford in aid of ASCEND.

Mark Brunette, Mandy Devereux, Stacy Hodges and Terri Walsh all stepped out over the edge of the 600 year old church and in doing so, raised significant funds for ASCEND.

VINCI PLC has close links with ASCEND, an organisation which aims to reduce social deprivation by improving basic skill levels to all adult age groups. It also runs a job club to assist clients into employment and works with young adults confronting homelessness.
